About
Sarah Howell is a visual artist and cultural producer who creates participatory arts projects. Her areas of interest are: drawing, zine (small handmade magazines) and comic book culture, psychogeography, and social technology.
A graduate of the University of Tasmania’s Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in sculpture, in 2007 Sarah was awarded one of only five Emerging Producer in Community(EPIC) grants from the Australia Council for the Arts and is currently one of the 2009/10 Co-Directors of the National Young Writers’ Festival.
